Getting out of the hole was more or less the same but cruise was faster. Being optimistic, I bought a new 19x13.25 prop which I put on for testing it out. Max rpm was about 5300 which according to the manual puts you near the top of the power curve for that engine (max engine rpm is 5750). Prior to the conversion i ran a 17x13.25 Quicksilver prop. While waiting for its return, I had the air restricter removed which is a necessary requirement in flashing the unit from 75 to 115. I have power going to the ECU and comming out, I just dont have any activity or signal. Is the pressure regulator responsible for activating the ECU, and if it is not, what is. I can ground the fuel pump and make it run and pump. I do not have 12V at the positive terminal of the fuel pump. Figuring my downside risk only to be the engines residual value, I sent off the ECU to have it flashed. I have 12.8 V comming from the ECU to the fuel pump. My plans were to upgrade to a new motor this season until I came across flashing the ECU in a web search. For what is worth I figured that I would post an update to this thread.
